There’s something strange going on whenever identity2.0 is mentioned these days, or more precisely when we speak of identity online in the future. It seems to me that we used to ask ourselves whether the person behind the screen name was really who they are, but now we seem to be questioning whether they’re there… Continue reading Anyone/thing out there?

Milan!
Great milanese graffiti Originally uploaded by alexandra666. Yes, hanging out in “la bella città” today with the dotdotdot kids and back in London tomorrow. I’m off to see if they’ve stripped the Duomo yet but mainly try to capture some of the great paper-based graffiti that animate the city everywhere… Ciao!
Mini trip to Milan
I’ll be going to Milan for the next 2 days, to meet an interesting company with whom I might collaborate. It will be very strange to go back to Milan post-idii, so many memories : / Back on thursday with plenty of Flickr pictures : )
Figs and 86% chocolate (A rough guide to eating in Oslo)
21.30 Originally uploaded by Ti.mo. I’ve started noticing the way… Continue reading Flirtation, deception and architecture.
Dilution of a field
Not sure how I feel about this latest announcement of the RCA‘s new Head of Department Tony Dunne. The Interaction design department (which apart from IDII and Umea was the only other school teaching a less Xerox park approach to the field is renaming itself “Design Interactions”. “The focus of the department is shifting, and… Continue reading Dilution of a field
Trop c'est comme pas assez…
Empty… Originally uploaded by alexandra666. Is a very “quebecer” expression that means that too much is like too little. This is a concept that truly and most definitely applies to communication in large corporations. Having spent the past month in what i will brand as one of the world’s “major communications company” it actually amazed… Continue reading Trop c'est comme pas assez…
