Sunday Scraps #94

I wish I’d grown up with Pina Bausch / instead you can find me at Julie’s jive classes on Monday nights / going to watch this 1994 documentary about the late Senegalese author Ousmane Sembène  / the inventor of the television lived in Crystal Palace near a Tecton beauty  /  there’s a clock museum down the road which i’m popping into instead of waiting for Open House Festival madness / i’m a sucker for HR touchpoints and I’m intrigued by Revolut’s performance review scorecard / a proposal to make energy bills more equitable is a good idea, we do means testing for lots of things, why not this? / ‘where the wild things are’ started as a very Munari-like book about horses / if i had a kid, we’d go to Wonder Works during the school holidays / making surveillance aware clothing is the new anti-camera makeup / I might add French permaculture restaurant Ruche to my list of fancy places to go to one day.

In social news, everyone is out of town so I’m going on long walks up and down the hills nearby. I went to St Leonards to see Lucy and James on the weekend but didn’t swim. I should go for a swim.

In job seeking news, I had a good chat with a friend about how we make our skills understandable by prospective employers. We didn’t come to any meaningful conclusions but I might write about that a little. The 50L Home Coalition is looking for a Director which piqued my interest.
