{"id":990,"date":"2009-08-27T12:48:58","date_gmt":"2009-08-27T19:48:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.designswarm.com\/blog\/?p=990"},"modified":"2015-11-21T16:51:37","modified_gmt":"2015-11-21T16:51:37","slug":"overworked","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.designswarm.com\/blog\/2009\/08\/overworked\/","title":{"rendered":"Overworked and underfucked"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thankfully I can&#8217;t even take credit for this expression that I picked up from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefarwest.net\/\">Aram<\/a> back in Talponia days, but that&#8217;s exactly how I feel at the moment so you&#8217;ll have to excuse the hollow sound of this blog at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>Things I&#8217;m busy with include researching robots, helping with blogging for <a href=\"http:\/\/lirec.eu\/\">LIREC<\/a>, learning about origami for some of what i&#8217;ll talk about at <a href=\"http:\/\/russelldavies.typepad.com\/planning\/interesting2009\/\">Interesting<\/a>, managing 2 large projects at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tinker.it\">Tinker.it!<\/a> convincing new people to work with us on Christmas stuff, planning on learning all about conductive threads for the V&amp;A, throwing crunched up post-its at <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/Cathedrow\">Peter<\/a> who sits conveniently accross from me, convincing <a href=\"http:\/\/bgbarker.com\/\">Ben<\/a> to quit Goldsmiths and just work with us for the rest of his creative life, enjoying having <a href=\"http:\/\/cefn.com\">Cefn<\/a> around the office in between paragliding trips, thinking about home automation from the ground up and cheap internet-of-things and taking the occasional trip to Europe to see friends. Conferences coming up soon as well.<\/p>\n<p>All of this will of course materialise in different forms. Or I might just have a nervous breakdown.
