God I love holidays. I went to Nice and had a fabulous time (even popped over to Marseille to spend the new year with friends). I hope you also enjoyed yourself. As a reminder, I started Sunday Scraps in 2018<\/a> as a way to clear my open tabs. Best to think of these as digital collage rather than a curated list. I am in no way encouraging you to do this en masse, I just know how shit social media is as a replacement for RSS. So here we go.<\/p>\n

I learnt about ‘l’\u00e9cole de Nice<\/a>‘ a local modern art movement and community in the 60s and 70s \/\u00a0 an old website<\/a> about home computers is so relaxing to look at \/ am seriously considering starting a private library so looking at Koha<\/a> \/ apparently I should watch Victoria<\/a> \/ I would quite like to see Gillian Crampton Smith<\/a> on the King’s honours list or be made RDI \/ not sure I buy the idea of otroverts<\/a> \/ on the rise of English<\/a> in business and politics \/ how jazz can inspire art<\/a> which then inspires classical composers<\/a> \/ I had a terrible \u00a37 slice of galette des rois<\/a> in Fitzrovia so I now want to find the best place for it \/ the 1994 digital arts collective Antirom<\/a> \/ on the scam that is Google Maps ratings<\/a> \/ the Receiver of Wreck<\/a> must see all sorts \/ my friend Conrad wrote an article about the ethics of FIRE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In social news<\/strong>, a friend told me about Kairos<\/a>, Ibraaz<\/a> and Hurry Up We’re Dreaming<\/a> so I’m going to try to attend some of their events. I’m also going to try to add a third weekly physical activity to my roster of jive classes<\/a> and yoga which feels like a fantastic way to start the second half of my 40s.<\/p>\n
