I’ve been hiring people for almost 20 years. These are some questions I think we should ask more often:<\/p>\n

  4. Are you a detail oriented person or a big picture person? How do you deal with working with someone who is the opposite?<\/li>\n
  5. What made you quit your last job?<\/li>\n
  6. How do you bounce back from negative feedback?<\/li>\n
  7. What is the hill you will die on?<\/li>\n
  8. What do you need to see your boss’s boss’s boss do to feel confident in your work environment?<\/li>\n
  9. What do you need to hear from your line manager to feel heard?<\/li>\n
