About her
Alexandra was born in Montreal, Canada, but grew up mostly in Europe and the Middle East. After completing a Bachelor's in Industrial Design at the Universite de Montreal, she moved to Italy to complete a Master's degree in Interaction Design at the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea in 2006.
After freelancing in Europe, she is now the CEO and Co-Founder of technology and design consultancy Tinker.it! and based in London. She blogs on designswarm, Shift6 and Tinker.it! now on a regular basis.
She is also an active conference speaker and is generally interested in service design, interaction design and how design will evolve out of it's current state into a de-centralised model of empowerment and DIY problem-solving with the help of new technologies.
